Meet the Creator
Hi Y'all! My name is Alissa and I am a GIA Graduate Gemologist and jewelry industry professional of over 15 years. Being the daughter of award-winning jeweler, Ziad H. Noshie of Almaza Jewelers, who has been in the business over 55 years, I grew up in the jewelry business and have followed in my father’s footsteps with my love of jewelry, design, and manufacturing.
After graduating from LSU with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship, I immediately began working in the family business. The inspiration for Casual Carats® arose from my desire for a stylish yet safe ring to wear at the gym. I wanted a touch of elegance in my gym accessory, so I created a casual yet luxurious ring that serves as a perfect substitute when wearing an engagement ring isn’t practical or safe
