Hi y’all! I’m Alissa Moyse, a GIA Graduate Gemologist with over 17 years in the jewelry industry. As the daughter of award-winning jeweler Ziad H. Noshie of Almaza Jewelers, I quite literally grew up in the business. Watching my father design and create fine jewelry for more than 55 years instilled in me a deep love of craftsmanship, gemstones, and timeless design.
After earning my degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Louisiana State University, I joined our family business and began building my own path in the jewelry world.
The idea for Casual Carats® came from a simple problem: I wanted a ring I could comfortably wear to the gym without sacrificing style or sentiment. What started as a personal solution quickly evolved into a new category of jewelry — luxurious silicone rings set with gold, diamonds, and gemstones.
